JOB PURPOSE
The incumbent will be responsible for capturing, editing, and producing photos and videos to be used on different social media platforms. He/She will also be responsible for designing basic communication collateral for a variety of mediums and audiences.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Apply visual design best practice principles to the design and development of content and interactive elements (graphics, videos, animations, music, dialogues, effects etc.), while maintaining institution branding/graphics standards.
- Manage multiple, simultaneous projects to reach targets and staying on schedule time.
- Create multimedia content for a variety of media platforms.
- Provide initial conception (storyboarding, etc.) and estimates for media development.
- Develop layout and concept designs for approvals.
- Collaborate closely with program managers on all aspects of projects, including planning, content, production level and platforms, turnaround time, corrections and approvals.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES (KSA)
Required Qualification
- Bachelor's in Media Sciences
Required Experience
- 3-4 years of experience in the relevant field
Required Skills
- Graphical Design Skills
- Proficiency with video/audio recording equipment
- Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Premiere, After Effects and Audition)
- Field Implementation and Service Delivery
- Writing, editing, designing, videography, or photography skills
- A decent command over Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Creativity
