JOB PURPOSE
The incumbent will be responsible for
designing the framework, research materials and tools for data collection and
quality assurance of the program through qualitative and quantitative
techniques, supervising Community Mental Health Officers, analyzing data and
presenting it. S/he will be responsible for collating data and presenting to
relevant stakeholders for the program.
RESPONSIBILITIES
·
Develop research materials and quantitative and qualitative
tools for monitoring & evaluation and quality assurance.
·
Data collection through qualitative & quantitative
(questionnaires/surveys) techniques.
·
Prepare and train field staff regarding M&E toolkits.
·
Arrange mental health trainings and support the Psychologist in
training Community Mental Health Officers (CMHOs).
·
Closely supervise and maintain database to track field team
progress.
·
Data analysis and review for research proposals and manuscripts.
·
Update data on a weekly or monthly basis.
·
Analyze quantitative and qualitative data through statistical
methods.
·
Assist in filling out IRB (Internal Review Board) forms for
approval of research proposals and prepare for IRB documentation.
·
Prepare presentation slides for the managers meeting.
·
Assist in preparing SOPs and evaluation frameworks for research.
·
Assist in Procuring necessary materials for smooth running of
the project.
·
Assist in preparing reports for stakeholders.
·
Act as program representative for internal and external partners
in absence of Manager .
·
Other activities pertaining to overall scope of the Mental Health
Program as and when required.
·
Any other task assigned by the line-manager.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS &
ABILITIES (KSA)
Required Qualification
·
Bachelor’s degree(s) in a relevant field including public
health, social science, and international relations
Required Experience
·
0-1 year of experience
Required Skills
·
Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc.)
·
Fluency in English/Urdu (oral and written) and fluency in Pashto
will be strongly preferred
·
Hands on experience of SPSS and Stata
·
Analytical Skills
·
