JOb Purpose
The incumbent is required to support the AMR study by conducting KAP and community surveys, ensuring accurate and ethical data collection, and timely submission of quality datasets under the guidance of the Project Associate.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in enumerator training and pilot testing activities.
- Conduct Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices (KAP) and community-level surveys using structured questionnaires, in accordance with study protocols.
- Ensure accurate and complete data collection using the provided tools.
- Ensure the security and confidentiality of all collected data.
- Uphold confidentiality and ethical research practices throughout data collection, including obtaining informed consent from all participants.
- Coordinate with the Project Associate to plan daily fieldwork and meet assigned targets.
- Assist in field logistics, including scheduling, travel planning, and coordination with health facilities.
- Identify and report field challenges promptly to the Project Associate.
- Support the Project Associate in data compilation, cleaning, and submission, as needed.
- Facilitate and support facility mapping and engagement activities as directed by the Project Associate.
- Perform any other field-related tasks assigned to support the implementation of study activities.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES (KSA)
Required Qualification
- Intermediate or Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, preferably with prior experience in data collection, community surveys, or social research.
Required Experience
- Prior experience in data collection or survey administration, preferably in health or social research.
Required Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow the guidance and field protocols.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data recording.
- Familiarity with smartphone usage, particularly GPS and map applications, and proficiency in basic computer software such as MS Word and Excel.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ethical and culturally sensitive approach to field engagement.
- Proficiency in Sindhi and Urdu, with basic understanding of English.
- Knowledge of local geography, communities, and health facilities within Jamshoro District.
- Adaptability to changing field conditions and willingness to travel within the district.
- Punctuality, reliability, and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
