JOB PURPOSE: The incumbent in this role will be tasked with the design, implementation, and management of comprehensive training programs. These initiatives are aimed at augmenting the skills, knowledge, and professional development of both trainees and trainers, contributing to the overall success of the skill development program.
Main Responsibilities & Tasks:
- Develop project implementation plans aligned with project objectives and ensure timely execution.
- Adhere to the business rules of the donor project to prevent penalties and ensure compliance.
- Update training data on the donor's Management Information System (MIS) online and the organization's MIS offline.
- Update training data on web portal.
- Facilitate third-party evaluations and monitoring visits to assess program effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the donor project's focal person to select participants based on set criteria, ensuring optimal learning outcomes.
- Build and lead a team of trainers and support staff, fostering a collaborative and productive training environment.
- Monitor training activities, providing technical and administrative support to both trainees and trainers.
- Develop timelines and work plans for each training event under the guidance of the line manager.
- Organize and distribute training and resource materials, including trainee resource folders, name tags, training contents, uniforms, etc.
- Ensure the delivery of quality training and maintain accurate records of training sessions.
- Implement measures to ensure the safety and security of participants and compliance with relevant standards.
- Provide support for administrative functions related to training programs, including correspondence, coordination, data entry, filing, scheduling, and bookkeeping.
- Compile progress reports (MPRs and QPRs) and final training reports for the project.
- Plan pre-training activities for donor-funded projects, such as Detailed Implementation Plans and M&E Plans, and initiate Purchase Requisitions (PRs) for timely procurement of training materials.
- Monitor project activities, including staff orientation, attendance, training implementation plan, quality training assurance, feedback sessions, pre-post-tests, final assessments, and data collection.
- Coordinate closely with the Admin team for the identification of training venues, hall booking, and other logistic arrangements in the field.
- Monitor the overall implementation of project activities at the field level, with a specific focus on skills development projects and Hunar Tech.
- Create and adhere to timelines and work plans for each training event, as directed by the line manager.
- Maintain records of official correspondence, and project documentation, and prepare meeting minutes.
- Identify and share best practices and lessons learned directly linked to the program.
- Undertake any other activity or function as requested by the line manager.
Professional Experience:
- Business or social science graduate or related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in training and development within NGOs, preferably INGOs.
- Demonstrable success in implementing donor-funded projects.
- Proven experience in donor liaison, reporting, and negotiations.
- Goal-driven with a persuasive communication style.
- Enriched knowledge of technical and vocational training.
- Proficient in MS Office applications
