MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Review grant specific information from program site coordinators and field site coordinators, such as but not limited to work plans, procurement plans and HR plans.
• Serve as a resource to the country mission on grant reporting regulations and requirements
• Assist the Grants and MEAL teams in following up on target indicators and accurate documentation.
• Assist in the preparation and review of internal and external reporting requirements, such as situation and narrative reports
• Support the development and drafting of concept notes, full proposals, and modification requests with program and operations departments.
• Assist in developing organization capacity for documentation, multimedia and information usage
• Copy, editing and compilation of narrative reports
• Maintain and catalogue hard copies of grant specific files throughout project life cycle– copies of site-specific documentation to be submitted at country level
• Write meeting minutes at grant opening and closing meetings, trainings, and routine liaison meetings with relevant departmentsPerform other duties as assigned. Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Typically, a Bachelor's degree in international relations, humanitarian assistance, communication or related area. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
• Typically, 3+ year of relevant experience implementing and monitoring programs funded by international donors and managing sub-awards, including at least one year working with proposal development for international agencies.
• Ability to work with multi-disciplinary officials or groups.
• Ability to work independently.
• Possesses excellent interpersonal skills, organizational skills and pays great attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively present information (both written and verbally) and respond appropriately to questions from national / regional disaster response agencies, local authorities, international and intergovernmental donors, and other stakeholders.
• Fluent in English.
