About the job Data Entry Operator
Job Purpose: To maintain the integrity and accuracy of manufacturing data by entering production, inventory, and other relevant data into the system whilst adhering to values and plant procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter data related to manufacturing processes, including production output, raw material usage, machine efficiency, and maintenance schedules.
- Review, verify, and correct any discrepancies in entered data.
- Work closely with the Supervisors and Operators to gather necessary data.
- Backup data regularly to protect against hardware failure and ensure data recoverability.
- Generate standard and custom reports based on data input as requested by the Operations Manager or other internal stakeholders.
- Assist the Operations Manager in the analysis and interpretation of manufacturing data by providing accurate figures and data points.
- Maintain physical records and files as necessary, ensuring they are organised and easily accessible while adhering to data management policies and procedures.
- Prepare and share required manufacturing or inventory data during audits or regulatory inspections.
- Recommend improvements to the data entry process to enhance efficiency and accuracy in data entry activities.
- Keep abreast of the latest developments in data entry methods to ensure manufacturing processes align with industry best practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
- At least DAE/B.Tech
- At least two years of experience

- SAP Proficiency
