Background
·
- Develop and deliver training modules on graphic design
and freelancing topics to participants enrolled in the Junior Jinnah
Trust Digital Skill Program.
- Design and implement a curriculum that covers
essential graphic design concepts, software skills, and freelancing
techniques.
- Conduct hands-on practical sessions and provide
demonstrations to enhance participants' understanding and proficiency in
graphic design tools and techniques.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to participants,
helping them develop their design skills and freelancing capabilities.
- Evaluate and assess participants' progress through
assignments, projects, and exams, providing constructive feedback for
improvement.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools,
and techniques in graphic design and freelancing, and incorporate them
into the training program.
- Collaborate with the program coordinators and other
trainers to ensure the smooth functioning of the Digital Skill Program.
- Assist in organizing workshops, events, and
exhibitions to showcase the participants' work and promote their
freelancing opportunities.
Requirements
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Fine Arts, or a
related field is preferred.
- A relevant diploma or certification in Graphic
Designing is also acceptable.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in
graphic design, with 2-year experience in freelancing.
- Proven track record of successful client projects and
portfolio showcasing a range of design work.
- Prior experience in conducting training sessions or workshops
on graphic design or freelancing is a plus.
- Familiarity with the challenges and opportunities in
the freelance design industry.
- Experience with project management and working
collaboratively in a team environment.
Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop,
Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong knowledge of design principles, typography, and
layout techniques.
- Familiarity with current design trends and best
practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to provide constructive feedback and
mentorship.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of freelancing platforms and
strategies.
